Well at least Freedom Planet does 1 thing Correct that the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise Lacks!, Consistency Ohhh!! Meme Clip I really don't care if it is meant to be a Sonic the Hedgehog Clone, i say that the Combat Mechanics help make this one stand out from being a Complete Rip-Off of Sonic.
Not to mention their are a few Moments that are kinda Deep. I like just about everything in this game, The main trio are a lot of fun with my personal favorite being Carol Tea aka Carol The Wildcat, The I like just about everything in this game, The main trio are a lot of fun with my personal favorite being Carol Tea aka Carol The Wildcat, The gameplay is just as fun once you get the hang of it, And as for the story while not perfect is at least a bit engaging, Honestly i think this game is a whole lot better then what you'd get out of your average Sonic the Hedgehog game in comparison to this.
